The Unhookable Collective — members, offerings, events, contact, and codex

Currencies

What we exchange and honor, money included.

Money is one currency. It is real, we name it directly, and members price their own offerings. The collective takes no cut of what members earn through their own work; shared costs are shared explicitly.

But money is not the only thing moving through the village, and a healthy village tracks the others too:

  • Time and presence — hours spent holding space, cooking, driving, showing up when it's inconvenient.
  • Trust — earned slowly, spent quickly, rebuilt deliberately.
  • Attention — noticing who's struggling, who's been carrying too much, who hasn't been asked.
  • Craft — the specific skill someone brings that no one else has.
  • Land tending — the unglamorous work of keeping the physical places we gather alive.

We don't try to convert these into points. We do try to keep them visible, so that contribution isn't invisible and depletion isn't silent.
