Section 07 of 12
Traditions & Rhythms
The things we do on purpose, again and again.
Traditions are how a culture remembers itself. Ours are still forming. The current ones:
Weekly — Men's Circle, Tuesday evenings. Other circles as they emerge.
Monthly — Friday Night Fire Night: the whole village, food, music, movement, fire. Kids welcome. No agenda, no pitch.
Seasonal — We mark the equinoxes and solstices with a gathering. Cacao circles at the turns of the year.
Annual — One larger journey or undertaking that the collective does together. In 2027 it's the road to Baja.
On joining — A new member is introduced to the village in person at a gathering, not by announcement.
On leaving — Departures are named and honored, not disappeared.
Traditions get added to the Codex once we've done them enough times that stopping would feel like a loss.
